ABOUT THE MAKER
At Dressfolk, kindness has always been a collective effort. To bring you The Artisan Edit, Dressfolk has partnered with SASHA - a World Fair Trade guaranteed, a non-profit organization based out of West Bengal. Functioning since 1978, Sasha has been working with over 100 producer groups in 16 craft styles. This has led to them providing livelihood support for 5000 artisans out of which 70% are women. Much like Dressfolk, SASHA recognizes that their skills and creativity lead to expression, recognition and fulfillment. SASHA's commitment to fair wages, fair practices and equal opportunities for India's craftspeople and Dressfolk's Circle of Giving find each other in perfect harmony. Joining the effort is easy, especially in a world consumed with fast fashion's destructive ways.

Your Dressfolk purchase makes our planet greener.

For us, sustainability is a process; a journey of consciousness, convenience, and sort of a transformation. A part of this journey is our commitment to a greener planet. For every little purchase you make, we plant a tree, or two, even. People are at the heart of everything we do. When we plant a tree for you, we’re looking to impact the fruit, fodder, and fuel for the local communities around it.

A certificate mentioning the geo-location of a tree planted in your name will be soon shared after your purchase.
