How does one define being beautiful? Dessidre was born with a condition called microtia, and was born with one ear. She grew up as a girl with immense confidence in herself, full of aspirations and dreams. She saw someone beautiful every time she looked in the mirror and not a girl with any disability. Not wanting to fit into the definition of normalcy that social conditioning wants us to believe helped her create, write, grow. The only person she seeks validation from is herself. So let's indulge ourselves in some inspiration, of how a little faith in ourselves can go a long way.
