We work with artisans and weavers across the country to design and produce authentic handcrafted apparel in a modern avatar. Open Positions


1. Design Intern
(min. 2 months)
Description: We are looking for a Fashion Design Intern to work in collaboration with our Senior Designer and Founder.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design process as required.
  • Develop innovative and original designs and concepts, techniques, applications and ideas.
  • Produce clear and detailed technical sketches.
  • Source relevant fabrics and develop embroideries to meet the design requirements.
  • Work with craftsmen to get products developed.
  • Create and develop mood boards and original inspiration themes for the seasonal collections.
  • Assist in and organising photoshoots and styling.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design.
  • Strong hand sketching abilities.
  • Strong Photoshop, Illustrator skills and technical drawing.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Works well under pressure.
  • Highly organised and ability to prioritise workload.
  • Demonstrates a can-do attitude and is resilient. 
  • Ability to get work done, without direct control (it's not as easy as it seems!)

 

2. Marketing Intern (min. 2 months)
Description: If you have a flair for creative writing, social media and brand building, you should reach out to us.

Responsibilities:

  • Ideate concepts for social media.
  • Conducting campaigns with influencers.
  • Conceptualise and execute PR campaigns.
  • Write blogs for different media owned by the brand.
  • Ability to get work done, without direct control (it's not as easy as it seems!)

Requirements:

  • Strong flair for writing.
  • A natural interest in marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data.
  • Agility and adaption to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Academic Qualification/Experience in fashion would be an added advantage.
